                              Become our new Insurance Accountant Tax Specialist based in Porto


BE PART OF OUR ACCOUNTING TEAM

As a technical accountant, you will be in charge of several missions whose main objective is to guarantee accounting data in FGAAP and IFRS. 


YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE HR ADMINISTRATION TEAM

You will be actors of the service and will actively participate to:

1.    Day to day activity:

-    Ensure compliance with Tax obligations,

Analysis and justification of accounts on a perimeter for which you will be responsible:

-    Audit trail formalization and documentation,

-    Ensure exchanges with contributors and stakeholders to obtain input,

-    Perform analyses and report conclusions,

-    Propose changes and monitor their implementation,


2.    Quarterly closing in local Gaap and IFRS:

-    Review the quality data,

-    Analyses and control of different type of accounts,

-    Participate to Analytical Review,


3.    Various projects that animate the management:

Contribute to the reflections and operational implementation. You will place the needs of the department at the heart of the exchanges.


To carry out these missions, you will work in very close collaboration with other departments: finance reporting, IT, actuarial services, internal control…


READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Master degree in accounting/ finance/ audit and/or professional background with about 3/5 years in a equivalent position,
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles,
  • Knowledge of Insurance accounting is a plus,
  • Good understanding of IFRS standards,
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills,
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present key information clearly,
  • Fluent in French (C1) or English (C1 mandatory if French is not spoken),
  • Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, CODA…and MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint),
  • Knowledge of data tools (SAS, Python or similar…) is a plus.
