2026 APAC Long Internship (Jul - Dec) – ALM Treasury - Singapore
For: Undergraduate students in any disciplines from a recognized university
Duration: 6 months
Streams: ALM Treasury BM, GB ALM Treasury and ALM Treasury – IT Project
Start date: July 2026

What you will do?
ALM Treasury has a unique position within the BNP Paribas, it is a Transversal Activity present throughout the Group in more than 50 countries, with around 600 employees fulfilling 3 operational missions which consist in:
- managing the Group's liquidity position, both in business as usual conditions and in crisis situations
- managing the interest rate risks in the banking book
- managing operational and structural foreign exchange risks
ALM Treasury to operate in the financial markets and partner with all of the Group’s entities.
As an ALM Treasury Business Management intern, you will:
- Various ad-hoc analysis and reconciliation, including market risk, P&L, balance sheet and funding topics;
- Assist front office team on ad-hoc tasks as required;
- Enhance regional ALMT communication platform;
- Support business management in regional projects.
- Maintain a weekly dashboard of financial markets indicators.
As a Global Banking ALM Treasury intern, you will:
Work across a broad range of items associated with liquidity risk management for Global Banking activities in Asia-Pacific region (APAC). This position will support Global Banking ALMT in the context of balance sheet risk, local ALM Treasury risk regulatory expectations, as well as ensure adherence with BNP Paribas’ ALM Treasury Management Framework, including:
- Produce and maintain liquidity-risk dashboards for entire Asia-Pacific region, delivering timely, accurate indicators to senior management;
- Develop an understanding of liquidity regulation – from Basel III (LCR, NSFR) to the specific ALM‑Treasury requirements of APAC markets.
- Learn and support the bank’s internal liquidity‑pricing and risk‑measurement tools, identifying and helping to implement enhancements.
- Test, validate, and assist in building ALM Treasury IT applications, providing functional testing support and, when needed, helping to develop new tools.
As a ALM Treasury – IT Project intern, you will:
Work across a broad range of items associated with liquidity risk management for Global Banking activities in Asia-Pacific region (APAC). This position will support Global Banking ALMT in the context of balance sheet risk, local ALM Treasury risk regulatory expectations, as well as ensure adherence with BNP Paribas’ ALM Treasury Management Framework, including:
- Produce and maintain liquidity-risk dashboards for entire Asia-Pacific region, delivering timely, accurate indicators to senior management;
- Develop an understanding of liquidity regulation – from Basel III (LCR, NSFR) to the specific ALM‑Treasury requirements of APAC markets.
- Learn and support the bank’s internal liquidity‑pricing and risk‑measurement tools, identifying and helping to implement enhancements.
- Contribute to a strategic IT project that redesigns the liquidity‑pricing process, taking part in requirement gathering and data analysis.
- Test, validate, and assist in building ALM Treasury IT applications, providing functional testing support and, when needed, helping to develop new tools.
