About the job 

  • The PMO Trainee will monitor DRIVE projects and programmes, handling status reporting, quality assurance and budget coordination, act as Committee Secretary by scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and recording decisions, respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests, deliver operational support for onboarding, training and resource needs, and drive continuous improvement of project standards and templates, all while applying portfolio‑management knowledge, strong MS PowerPoint skills, clear English communication, meticulous organization and autonomous, results‑focused work within the DRIVE PMO team in Lisbon

Your Main Activities Are 

  • Monitor DRIVE projects/ programs through project status reporting, quality assurance and budget coordination 
  • Act as Committee Secretary for DRIVE management meetings by scheduling meetings, gathering information, preparing presentations, and recording decisions made 
  • Answer ad-hoc reporting, when requested 
  • Provide operational support to the DRIVE community, including project management, resource onboarding, training, and other occasional forms of support
  • Ensure continuous improvement in areas such as project standards and project templates.

Profile and Skills to Success 

  • Bachelor’s in Management, Economics or similar
  • Knowledge in portfolio and project methodologies 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint 
  • Clear, concise, and effective communication, in English 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability and agility to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Proactivity with a focus on achieving results 
  • Attention to detail, precision and critical thinking 
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of autonomy 
  • Knowledge of the Clarity application is a plus
