Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible as a techno functional resource for executing the functional and regression tests and creating automation scripts. The candidate must have good hands-on experience on manual functional and Regression testing and Selenium. The candidate should be well versed with working effectively in agile methodology. Candidate is also expected to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Automation - Selenium Testing experience from 5 to 8

·       Experience working with any of the automation frameworks in TestNG, BDD – Cucumber

·       Good knowledge of Java used for automation

·       Experience in API testing would be an added advantage

·       Having knowledge on any of “KYC”, “AML”, “Peoplesoft” or “CRM” domain

·       Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills

·       Understanding testing principles and practices

·       Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases

·       Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams 

·       Should have functional Specification Analysis Experience

·       Work in close co-ordination with functional test team to analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.

·       Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.

·       Must have good analytical skills.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams

·       Must be flexible, independent.

·       Perform other testing-related duties as required
