Job Title: Securities Settlement Specialist

Department: WM - Operations

Business Line / Function: Wealth Management

The Wealth Management (WM) Trust team (Taiwan) is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant processing of trust activities, including the settlement of securities trades. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance for trust operations in the APAC region.

Position Purpose

The Securities Settlement Specialist is responsible for:

·         Processing the daily operations of trust activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

·         Monitoring settlement fails, investigating root causes, and executing remediation actions.

·         Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

·         Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

·         This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to support the team in maintaining seamless trust operations.

Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities

Process the settlement of securities trades, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Monitor settlement fails, investigate root causes, and execute timely remediation actions.

Ensure all trust operations comply with regulations and internal policies, while identifying and mitigating operational risks.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Contributing Responsibilities:

Participate in workflow improvement initiatives to streamline operations.

Support ad-hoc projects as required by the team or management.

Specific Qualifications:

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (3 years) in Business, Finance, or a related field.

Experience Level: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar domain.
