DepartmentAsset Management Operations - Security Master

About Business line/Function: Asset Management – Position Keeping

Position Purpose:

You, as a member of the Security Master Operations, will be responsible for the daily creation of financial instruments, Funds & Mandates, index & benchmarks, daily monitoring controls and validation & publication of prices for all instruments. Besides the creation, you will provide effective support to internal and external clients. Understand the valuation (prices / Mark to Market + analytics) process of all kinds of financial instruments.

Direct Responsibilities

Security Master: 

This team is responsible for setting up and maintaining data quality for various instrument types in the respective accounting platforms.

Security master activity is carried out across APAC & EMEA regions for mostly listed instruments.

This team members are responsible for creating various securities like Equity, fixed Income, ABS, MBS, ETD (Future & Options), and money market instruments such as Certificate of Deposit (CD), Commercial Papers (CP), and Zero coupon Bonds.

Members are also expected to have knowledge on different fixed income bonds such as Step Coupon, Fixed, Floating, Fixed to Floater, Inflation Linked, Variable and Structured notes Bonds etc.

Contributing Responsibilities

·         Process accurate creation of securities within given deadlines.

·         Interact with both internal and external parties to resolve Asset creation issues and queries.

·         Query resolution in accordance with time frames set out in Client SLA’s

·         Performing a range of daily, weekly, monthly reporting’s/ controls to ensure completeness of processing.

·         Work with the vendors and other parties to update the security information in sytem

·         Resolve Security creation issues on a timely basis.

·         Expressing ideas effectively in individual and group situations. Adjusting communication style to match the needs of the audience.

·         Expressing ideas clearly in all written documents. Using professional, appropriate language always, and adhering to the use of the BNPP Email protocols.

·         Work effectively with team members to accomplish goals, exhibit high-level of respect to colleagues, display integrity in dealing with team members.

Specific Qualifications:

·         Graduation / Post Graduation from any recognized University with Finance as Major.

·         Candidates should be willing and flexible to work in any shift.

 

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

·         Market data vendors knowledge such Bloomberg, LSEG (Reuters) & ICE.

·         Accounting: Knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting standards

·         Financial Markets: Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and products (e.g., stocks, bonds, derivatives, currencies).

·         Knowledge of Investment Banking and its Trade Life Cycle

·         Exposure to basic Microsoft tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Education Level: Graduation / Post Graduation from the recognized University
