About the job
- Under the responsibility of the local Financial Controller Team Leader based in Lisbon Office and functionally to the Head of Performance Management Switzerland, the Senior Financial controller will perform the following activities
Your Main Activities Are
- Management accounting:
- Champion continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools, and data integrity
- Perform and review Profit and Loss (P&L) reconciliations for all major revenue accounts by business lines
- Coordination with the Accounting Department on all issues related to the booking of revenues, Assets, Deposits and Loans and Cost of Risk
- Implement and perform relevant accounting controls and standards
- Responsible for the loading of Wealth Management (WM) results and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the Perseus WM environment (monthly basis)
- In charge of the CP2A tool and everything related to this tool (from the loading of CP2A, the access management and the support to the users)
- Monthly performance:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for performance‑management WM queries
- Design and maintain KPIs and dashboards for WM business
- Production of monthly analysis/reports on the Business activity/performance
- Perform regular variance analysis and root‑cause investigations
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Responsibility of the loading/submission of Forecast/Budget figures in due time and at the granularity requested (as per Head Office/Local Management guidelines)
- Projects and others:
- Lead performance‑management improvement projects (e.g., automation of data collection, introduction of advanced analytics)
- Optimization of the existing processes
- Assist the systems upgrades, enhancements related to new reporting requirements
- Contribute to regulatory reporting, audit and Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) / Swiss National Bank (BNS) requests
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Management or Economy
- At least 3 years of experience in Audit, Management Control or Financial reporting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
- Proficiency in Tagetik, BI4
- Fluency in English
