Position Purpose

The Corporate Actions Analyst ensures the end‑to‑end processing of corporate‑action events, from announcement through settlement, while maintaining accurate records, meeting deadlines, and supporting internal and external stakeholders.



Event Monitoring & Scrubbing

• Track corporate action announcements (global coverage) and identify eligible positions.

• Scrub and set up U.S. domestic market events in the booking system.

Client Notification & Communication

• Analyse event terms and prepare client facing notifications.

• Ensure timely delivery of notifications and clear communication of offer terms.

Election & Instruction Management

• Coordinate voluntary event elections with internal support functions.

• Compile aggregated instructions for agents/custodians and confirm receipt.

Booking & Reconciliation

• Process income and CoA proceeds into client accounts on the payment date.

• Reconcile bookings in the accounting system and maintain accurate books throughout the event lifecycle.

Claims & Payments

• Manage receivable/payable claims with external parties, adhering to Group policies and wire transfer guidelines.

Control & Escalation

• Perform ongoing control checks (theoretical bookings, forecast assumptions).

• Escalate and resolve outstanding items promptly, following compliance and escalation procedures.

• Follow approved controls; suggest procedural updates when justified.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.



Education: Required Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) with 1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate actions, securities operations, or related finance functions

• Solid understanding of the corporate actions lifecycle

• Strong analytical and problem solving ability

• Advanced Excel skills

• Fluency in English (written & spoken)
