About the job

  • Resources and Portfolio Management (RPM), part of Securitized Products Group (SPG), focuses on risk transfer solutions for capital and risk management within BNPP. It identifies internal clients' needs, structuring optimal solutions and finding market capacity, in collaboration with Origination & Structuring and Syndicates to deliver effective execution. RPM leverages expertise in capital management, structuration, and credit insurances to support active portfolio management. This includes resource monitoring, portfolio analysis, optimization for revenue, risk, and capital efficiency, and managing insurance distribution
  • The RPM Data Trainee for Securitization is part of Data Solution and Modelling (DSM) team which is in charge of developing and structuring the data offering as well as providing data insight and analytics to related stakeholders within RPM. Involved in every step of RPM's product lifecycle, DSM plays a central role in accelerating and securing the activity

 

Your Main Activities Are

  • Perform minor adhoc data updates: Mapping of new fields, data enhancement, etc  
  • Help close topics in Securitisation Transaction Management (TM) and DSM backlog as change codes 
  • Help with the documentation of processes and code
  • Help on performing adhoc studies related to securitization based on historical data as Risk weighted (RW) evolution, discharge reasons by program, data quality (mapping issues and others), etc
  • Help on the project of building the datamart for securitization (historization of capital structure, Profit & Loss (P&L), securitization results, discharge audit trail, etc) by helping organizing data fields and support data on excel files, etc
  • Leverage on our data structure to build helpful visualizations or analysis to the management team regarding Power BI, Qlik, and Python
  • Provide support to other DSM team members in different projects 
  • Overall support of colleagues in data related issues and database analysis
  • Connection between DSM and TM local team and management in Paris

 

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, focused in Business Analytics or Data Science
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools: SQL, Visualization, etc
  • Knowledge in computer programming language, in particular Python 
  • Interest in credit risk capital management products
  • Organized, teamwork, analytical mind-set
  • Fluent in English: spoken & written
