About the job
- The Managed Fund Services (MFS) Client Delivery Analyst’s mission is to process the Net Present Value (NPV) of the over-the-counter (OTC) and repo trades portfolio between clients of BNP Paribas and their Counterparties, performing trade data integrity checks and the comparison of exposures with the value of the assets pledged from the collateral management platform, aiming to ensure that the clients’ exposure to their Counterparties is sufficiently collateralized
Your Main Activities Are
- Make and receive margin calls in a timely manner and book margin calls in the collateral management system
- Manage Counterparties’ and Custodian queries
- Perform collateral movements and interest payments on collateral balances
- Prepare instructions on cash and securities to be received and delivered
- Investigate settlement fails with back-offices and escalate to supervisor and manager
- Arrange substitutions and prepare collateral movements instructions
- Calculate and validate interest in cash balances calculations
- Prepare instructions to receive and pay interest
- Reconcile securities balances and movements between the collateral management system and the custodians
- Reconcile cash balances and movements between the collateral management system and the accounting book entries when BNP Paribas performs fund accounting functions
- Reconcile interest in collateral management systems
- Report on margin call disputes, while ensuring that all disputes are explained and investigated
- Document and update procedures that are common to all clients and document bespoke procedures to support one-off processes agreed with the client, as part of the onboarding
- Propose system enhancement for better risk monitoring and work efficiency and participate in testing collateral management system new releases
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor´s degree in Economics, International relations or any other relevant field
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Up to 2 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel
- Great organizational skills with a committed and proactive approach
- Great attentiveness to detail and sense of responsiveness and quality of service
- Ability to cope with pressure and short deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
