About the job
- The KYC Analyst serves as a dedicated due‑diligence officer, responsible for gathering and consolidating data and documentation to build complete Know‑Your‑Client (KYC) files, for both prospective and existing clients
Your Main Activities Are
- Define the scope of each onboarding, recertification, or off‑boarding request and set the specifications, taking in consideration the local regulatory requirements
- Conduct initial checks against internal databases and open sources to identify existing KYC data and compile documents required from the client
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to obtain the full list of required KYC documents, and perform a gap analysis in order to identify any missing items
- Organise collected documents, extract relevant data, and input the information into the dedicated KYC tool, such as ownership structure, source of funds, related persons ands others
- Run screenings of the extracted data through Sanctions, Politically Exposed Person (PEP) and Adverse Information lists and assess the risk following quantitative and qualitative assessment
- Review KYC files and validate that all entered data aligns with the due‑diligence performed and that document format complies with bank policies and procedures
- Arrange, prepare and document the Client Acceptance Committee (CAC) meeting, providing all required evidence for final KYC approval and monitor decisions, follow up on outcomes and coordinate any subsequent actions required
- Escalate identified risks or blockers promptly, own the proposed remedial actions and keep line management informed of status and resolution plans
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Finance and Accounting or similar areas
- Up to 2 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Banking and Financial Operations or similar role
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Ability to work effectively in a transversal environment and collaboration across different teams, departments and clients
- Analytical capacity, attention to detail, organization skills and rigorousness
