Your Main Activities Are
- The Sales Assistants Team for US and Latam markets is responsible for all the desk tasks, namely booking trades and coordination with middle/back office to ensure a smooth settlement and a high level of post-trade servicing to clients, as well as innovation and automation of tasks.
- Structured Products and Derivatives Post-Trade Tasks
- Finalize booking of Traded deals
- Interact with all of the internal stakeholders and clients regarding any traded deal
- Structured Products and Derivatives Pre-Trade Tasks
- Provide general support to Sales
- Complete pre-deal trade process
- Prepare marketing documents/pitches/emails in coordination with Sales
- Competitive watch and data
- Digitalization / Transformation
- Continuously escalate feedback and improvement ideas to increase streamlining of the workflow
- Active contribution to the development of the Bank's tools to enhance pre-trade as well as post-trade processes and systems
- Responsible for suggesting and driving digitalization projects and implementing them in the day to day
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor degree in Management, Finance, Economics
- Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent in English
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Late shift – 12h00 to 21h00, in rotation within the rest of the team, but flexibility will be requested
About the Team
- The Lisbon-based Structured Products Sales Assistant is part of a global sales workforce in charge of selling tailor-made investments solutions (Structured Products and Derivatives Products) to clients used to trade standardized products on a reverse inquiry mode. Within a fast-paced and stressful environment, he is in charge of assisting the team to promote the firm’s brand, products and services to existing clients. The range of products is large and will include both Equities or Fixed Income underlyings. Clients are diverse as well, and may range from large financial institutions to private and retail. On top of the main mission of managing the heavily operational day-to-day, he will also have to help the bank scale by focusing on automation and transformation projects
- The teams in Lisbon are organized in sub-scopes, each servicing different Sales desks across the different geographies of the Global Markets franchise. For this specific position, we are looking for someone that will work within the US and Latam markets within a 3-person team. Important to be noted that the team will perform its activity, at least partially in a late shift framework, i.e. aligned with US hours
