About the job

  • Responsible for conducting and supporting a broad scope of HR services, throughout the whole employee life cycle in BNP Paribas. The HR Generalist will support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs/tools. Ensures Human Resource Information Systems data maintenance, employee relations and compensation & benefits administration
  • Contributes to the engagement and retention of BNP Paribas employees and aims to provide them an excellent employee experience

Your Main Activities Are

  • Participate in Campus events, in-house initiatives and other Recruitment Marketing activities
  • Playing an active role in the overall activity of Recruitment & Talent Sourcing to meet the goals of attracting, hiring and retaining the best talent, while growing a strong pipeline of Candidates and contributing to continuous improvement through suggestions of best practices
  • Sourcing and attracting Candidates through various sources, including preparing and launching job adverts, regular using sourcing tools (e.g. About Me, LinkedIn), addressing pre-approved Recruitment agencies
  • Support employee onboarding activities, liaising with other HR teams and with URBO’s proximity teams in order to support new joiners and employees in mobility to Porto, ensuring a smooth onboarding and/or mobility experience
  • Support the organization of learning & development activities in Porto, working closely with the L&D Support team and the Facilities proximity team
  • Partner with HR management and HR Business Partners to promote the implementation of HR policies, processes and tools
  • Support career management activities, namely by answering specific employee queries, forwarding them to the proper channel and/or tool and conducting exit interviews and termination procedures
  • Ensure liaison with Reward and Transformation team in the scope of processes such as CRP, Off Cycle requests, legal entity change and/or others
  • Contribute to the organization of HR initiatives and learning & development activities, working closely with the relevant teams

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Social Sciences
  • Up to 2 years Human Resources
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required
  • Proficient use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail/rigor
  • Ability to collaborate/Teamwork
  • Ability to deliver/Results driven
