About Business line/Function:

CIB Client Engagement and Protection IT having focus on applications servicing Client Lifecycle management, Due Diligence /KYC , Customer Relation Management,  Service Request Management, Referential and Data Quality, PreTrade Transaction Screening and Anti-Money Laundering.  Technologies being used include Java, .NET, Angular, Informatica, PowerBI, Fenergo, Siebel, Actimize, Camunda, Drools on private cloud infrastructure. Agile and DevSecOps practices are widely used. Landscape includes projects that are a mix of established and some under transition to new platforms.

Position Purpose

Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic experienced functional tester with Business Analyst experience to join our dynamic development team. In this role, candidate will contribute to the regather requirements, design test cases, execute the same, and provide testing status to required stakeholder. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to grow their technical skills and gain hands-on experience on a world class application within a collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities

            Lead manual testing efforts for complex financial applications, ensuring zero-defect tolerance in critical workflows

            Design and execute comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, and UAT phases, with 100% traceability to requirements.

            Identify, log, and track defects using Jira , ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact analysis for stakeholders.

            Collaborate with compliance teams to validate regulatory requirements (GDPR,Basel III) in system behavior.

            Mentor junior testers on manual testing best practices, defect management, and financial domain knowledge.

            Drive process improvements by analyzing defect trends and recommending test automation opportunities or tool enhancements.

            Support UAT by guiding business users, resolving queries, and ensuring smooth sign-off.

            Perform post-release validation to mitigate production risks and validate fixes

            Act as Business Analyst and collaborate with end users to collect requirements by participate in workshops.

 

 

Technical Skills:

            7+ years of hands-on manual testing experience, with a strong focus on financial services.

            Expertise in test design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, risk-based testing) and defect management (Jira).

            Proficiency in SQL for backend validation and data integrity testing in complex databases (Oracle).

            Experience with test management tools (Jira Xray) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, SharePoint).

            Basic API testing skills (Postman, Swagger) to validate system integrations and microservices.

            Awareness of Agile/DevOps practices and ability to adapt testing approaches in fast-paced environments.

            Strong analytical skills to triage defects, identify root causes, and propose process improvements.

            Experience mentoring junior QA team members and leading UAT sessions with business users.
