Graduate Program Global Markets – Institutional Credit Sales (24 months, starting August 2026)

This position is based in Zurich on a fixed-term contract of 24 months.

We are looking for someone like you to join us as a Graduate Analyst within our Global Markets (GM) Division for our Zurich Office. You will get the opportunity to deepen your knowledge not only in the specific business line but also across the broader Investment Banking Sector, acquiring experience and seniority that will enable you to contribute to the commercial objectives of the division. Furthermore, as an integral part of the team you will be responsible for various tasks and contribute to the team’s objectives and success.

YOUR TEAM

The team covers Swiss Institutional Clients such as Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Fund Managers, External Banks and Family Offices on Primary and Secondary Credit Products (cash bonds and credit default swaps) in all major currencies (including CHF). The team consists of 3 Sales and 1 Graduate Analyst. 


YOUR WORKDAY

You will actively contribute to the team’s activities and provide support to Credit Sales in their daily tasks. Key responsibilities include:


  • Answer client inquiries on Bloomberg and telephone, working closely with the sales team
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, company news and macro developments; continuously monitor and understand client flow
  • Attend Trading and Sales calls/meetings, monitor Trading chats and stay informed about ongoing trading activity
  • Follow relevant BNP research publications
  • Manage primary market activities across multipole currencies, including order collection, communication of allocations to clients, trade confirmations
  • Setup clients on BNP systems and trading platforms. Ensure they receive relevant information
  • Compile daily Bond Axe lists and distribute to clients
  • Assist in preparing trade ideas for clients to generate additional trading volumes. Liaise with various trading centres in Zurich, London, New York and Singapore.
  • Oversee post trade processes – booking, allocations, confirmations - for both primary and secondary activities
  • Book trades and troubleshoot settlement issues by coordinating with Operations in Lisbon, Paris and Geneva
  • Interact and network with other product desks and graduates to foster knowledge sharing

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed (or on track to complete) your (Bachelor or) Master University Degree with a strong focus on Banking, Finance and/or Economics (Graduation date less than 2 years ago)
  • Very strong interest in Finance, Capital Markets and the broader banking sector
  • Preferably previous work experience (internship, etc.) within a market related role (trading, sales, asset management, capital markets, research)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills: fluent in German and English (primary working language), French is an advantage
  • Self-motivated and proactive, combined with a strong team spirit
  • Ability to set priorities, be flexible, well organized and enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment
