CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES
Commercial Banking, a subset of Banque des Entreprises Luxembourg (BEL), focuses on the market for medium-sized companies active at the national and international level and facing increasingly complex financing needs. We offer classic as well as tailor- made banking services and solutions through our Commercial Banking team based at the BGL BNP Paribas Kirchberg headquarter.

WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?
The Commercial Banking Relationship Management team covers companies with a turnover > 7,5M€ up to 250M€
We are searching for a trainee (6-12 months) to support the team in the following areas:
- Support and monitor business development and cross selling initiatives
- Preparation of client meetings and product pitches
- Marketing and research on the Luxembourg SME market
- Preparation of annual credit reviews
- Support on daily business with customers
We will give you also the opportunity to participate in customer meetings and to work with our Credit Structuring team on dedicated credit files.

Your working environment
- Location of the position: Luxembourg, Kirchberg
- The team consists of 6 (Senior-)Relationship Managers and 2 Commercial Assistants
- You have interactions with numerous teams of the bank, notably with Global Trade Solutions, Global Markets, Leasing, Arval, Compliance, KYC Office, etc.
- Regular, constructive feedback to support individual professional development
- Manager or team member to contact in case of questions: Zafer Al Kallas, Head of Commercial Banking Kirchberg

ARE YOU OUR FUTURE INTERN?
Professional experience and/or degree
- Education : business schools, university with a major in Finance or economics / or similar experience
- At least 6 months previous internship experience in audit, private equity and/or corporate credit analysis
- Fluent in English and French / German or Luxemburgish is considered as a plus
- Broad knowledge of the small and midcap universe
- Sound expertise in financial statement and risk analyses
