As Corporate and Institutional Banking(CIB), we offer financial solutions for corporate and institutional clients in a number of locations globally. Our Securities Services business line is a multi-asset servicing specialist. Contribute to the Operational Risk Management in line with Group policies, within selected European locations of Securities Services in order to manage the operational risk.


Operational Risk Officer (Expert)


Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience, preferably in risk/internal audit area 
  • Fluency in English (min. C1 level)
  • Interest in fund industry and risk management 
  • Good Knowledge of MS Excel 
  • Accuracy and flexibility approach 
  • Self-motivation, willingness to learn, able to work independently and sense of responsibility


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational risk management framework for global BNP Paribas Securities Services, acting as the second line of defense and collaborating with other RISK ORM teams.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing a risk management framework for relevant business lines, including level 2 controls and effectiveness assessments.
  • Perform level 2 controls and provide independent evaluations of the control framework.
  • Conduct risk identification, quantification (RCSA), and continuous monitoring.
  • Track recommendations and challenge remediation plans to ensure risks are addressed.
  • Foster a risk-aware culture through training and sensitization, focusing on newcomers.
  • Generate reports on key risk indicators to inform stakeholders.
  • Organize and handle meetings with business lines and the RISK Community.
