Business Overview:

Equity Derivatives provides a wide range of solutions for both US institutional and retail clients. The business offers equity solutions across the whole equity derivatives spectrum from flow solutions to highly customized structured solutions.

 

The Pension Sales team covers Pension Fund, Endowment, Foundation and Family Office clients holistically across Delta One, Financing, Volatility products and Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) delivering the bank across these pillars to solve our clients’ specific investment requirements.  

 

Pensions invest for beta replication, alpha generation and hedging purposes which they look to their bank partners for innovation, strong content, coverage and pricing capabilities.

 

We are looking to further grow the BNP Paribas footprint across North American Pensions and related accounts with across Flow Equity Derivatives including Delta One, Financing, Flow volatility and light exotics opportunities.  This requires deep knowledge of the products across index, single name and basket swaps, as well as all related derivatives products.

 

The role is a combination of top quality execution as well as content delivery that will require coordination with Trading desks, Strategy, Research and Structuring teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage daily Flow, D1 and Light Exotics requests from Pension team clients
  • Ensure seamless executions across clients and Trading desks globally
  • Create top quality client content integrating product and strategy inputs
  • Fully engage with Heads of Trading and PMs at Pension clients
  • Maintain and analyze hit ratios 
  • Develop automation and industrialization of the process from requests, pricing, execution to trade confirmation
  • Collaborate with other EQD Sales in particular on new infrastructure developments (Smart Derivatives) and trade ideas 

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Previous and similar sales experience with North American Pension Funds
  • 3 years’ experience in the industry
  • Proficient in handling all Flow Equity Derivatives products executions 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients and think outside the box
  • Understand project requirements and coordinate with resources
  • Leadership skills and ability to train and guide other team members

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in programming (Python etc.)

  • Series 7,63,3

 

CFTC Swap Dealer Associated Person (if yes, NFA Swaps Proficiency Program is required): 

  • Yes

 

SEC Security-Based Swap Dealer Associated Person:

  • Yes

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
