Business Overview:

The Marketing & Communications team oversees the marketing and communication strategy of BNP Paribas in the Americas, predominately for the Corporate & Institutional Banking franchise, in collaboration with the Group (Paris) communications teams. The functions of this group today include: Events & Sponsorship, Media Relations, Marketing, Social Media, Content, Philanthropic Initiatives, Advertising, Client Creative Services, Internal Communications and Video Services.

 

Role Overview

The Sponsorships Analyst supports the execution, measurement, and promotion of the bank’s global tennis sponsorships, cultural partnerships, and tennis-related charitable initiatives. This is a detail-oriented, analytical, and transversal role that touches every business of the bank and partners closely with marketing, communications, philanthropy, and senior stakeholders.

 

The role combines KPI-driven reporting with hands-on execution, including ticketing, hospitality, event registration, stakeholder communications, and internal storytelling. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with extended hours during major events. An interest in tennis or professional sports is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities: 

Sponsorship, Ticketing & Event Execution

  • Support major tennis sponsorships, including the BNP Paribas Open, US Open, and Roland-Garros.
  • Manage high-volume ticket distribution, tracking, confirmations, trouble shooting and follow-up.
  • Support finals-weekend hospitality for C-suite clients.
  • Coordinate logistics for client and employee events, including a January internal tennis event (100+ attendees).
  • Create and manage event registrations using Eventogy or similar platforms.

 

Community & Charity Programs

  • Support tennis-related charitable initiatives, including the International Tennis Hall of Fame, CityParks Tennis (NYC), and Team MAC-1 (JMTA).
  • Coordinate logistics on both internal and client engagement in partnership with our various partners in tennis and culture. 

 

Reporting, Analytics & Promotion

  • Track sponsorship assets, budgets, participation, and engagement metrics.
  • Produce executive-ready PowerPoint reports and recap decks.
  • Draft and distribute ticketing and event communications.
  • Promote initiatives across various channels, including: intranet, internal newsletters, digital screens, and other communication channels.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Execution Support

  • Coordinate with stakeholders across all businesses.
  • Serve as a central point of execution across sponsorships, communications, and client teams.
  • Support on-site execution and extended hours during major tournaments.

 

Travel Requirements

  • Travel required for major tournaments, including: 
    • US Open – Queens, NY (late August–mid-September)
    • BNP Paribas Open – Indian Wells, CA (early–mid March)
  • Travel typically includes a minimum of two weeks on site, plus significant involvement during the two months leading up to each event.
  • Time off is not permitted during tournament periods; major vacations are planned around key sponsorship milestones.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Communications, English, Journalism, or related field preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in sponsorships, events, hospitality, marketing, and/or communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level writing.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical ability to synthesize data and produce actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in both PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in client-facing and event-related work.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with event registration or management platforms (Eventogy or similar).
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting premium hospitality or high-touch client events.
  • Interest in tennis, sports, or live events.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $115,000 to $135,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
