Investment Compliance is part of Depositary and Fiduciary domain of BNP Paribas. DFS department was appointed for fund’s asset protection: cash monitoring, safekeeping and overseeing the fund’s affairs to ensure that it complies with obligations outlined in relevant laws and fund’s constitutional documents. Investment Compliance Junior Specialist


Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the contractual and legal requirements and implementation into the compliance monitoring system
  • Carry out compliance operations on the funds in order to ensure that fund’s valuation comply with legal and contractual requirements, including NAV oversight, errors and breaches pre-analysis and investigations, market conformity and lending checks
  • Perform investment compliance controls using a dedicated IT tools and/or checklists 
  • Analyse and document reported investment compliance exceptions   
  • Identify and qualify investment compliance breach including the origin of the incident 
  • Setup and maintenance of funds master data
  • Interactions with all departments linked to the Depobank in different countries
  • Participate to internal reporting activities to measure the quality of Depotbank operations 
  • Support improvements of provided services by increasing their accuracy or convenience (e.g. manual steps limitations) 


Requirements:

  • University degree (Finance, Economics, Law), equivalent professional experience would be considered as an advantage 
  • Basic knowledge of the investment funds industry and securities market  
  • English work command min B2
  • Very good knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
