External Sales – Agriculture

 

BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions (Romania), a company of BNP Paribas Group, is a leading player in the financing and rental of professional equipment in Romania. 

 

This position is part of the Commercial Department of the Leasing Solutions Group and reports hierarchically to the Agriculture Sales Manager.

 

Location: Iasi

Working mode: remote

Contract type: Full-time

 

Overview:

Develop and maintain business relationships with the Employer’s partners and clients in the assigned geographic area.

Promote and sell the Employer’s and its affiliates’ financing products in the allocated area (the Employer may change the area at any time).

Identify new business opportunities and potential partners and analyze market trends and competition.

Implement the Employer’s sales strategy and action plan for the assigned area and partners.

Prepare and present periodic market analyses and conclusions for the Employer.

Provide on-site support to partners and clients.

 

Job Attributions:

Commercial & Financing Activities

Prepare financing offers in line with granted authority, internal rules, and active campaigns.

Collect all required documents from clients, guarantors, suppliers, and partners for credit/leasing files.

Enter financial and client data accurately and on time into Charisma and other internal systems.

Perform client and transaction evaluations according to internal procedures.

 

Risk & Compliance

Perform background checks using official and public databases (Trade Register, Insolvency Bulletin, courts, Ministry of Finance, banking incident databases, etc.).

Submit complete financing files and proposals to the Risk Department.

Provide additional documents or information requested by Risk or other internal departments.

Review Risk Department approvals and conditions.

Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and counter-terrorism financing rules where applicable.

Verify the existence, location, and identification of financed assets.

 

Contracting & Client Interaction

Coordinate contract signing and verify authorization of signatories.

Ensure contract documents and signatures are correct and compliant.

Maintain regular contact with clients and partners, including on-site visits.

Respond to client and partner requests or coordinate solutions with relevant internal departments.

Prepare visit reports and monitor ongoing client relationships.

Send payment reminders, notifications, and formal notices where required.

 

 

Planning & Reporting

Plan and carry out client and partner visits in line with company strategy.

Inform the Commercial Manager weekly about the planned visit schedule and adjust as instructed.

Prepare activity and visit reports in accordance with internal procedures.

Cooperation & Professional Conduct

Participate in fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.

Cooperate closely with all internal departments.

Ensure continuous self-control and compliance with internal procedures.
