As part of our ALM (Asset and Liability Management) team, you’ll be at the heart of the bank’s strategy—managing interest rate risk, long-term liquidity, and structural FX exposure while ensuring stability and growth.

Within Risk Standards and Monitoring teams, you’ll analyze, report, and steer risks to provide a clear, forward-looking view of the banking book’s performance. Your work will directly influence how we minimize risks and secure sustainable income for years to come.

AND IN DETAIL

Here’s your role in our team:

• You will produce and analyze interest rate and liquidity risk indicators, ensuring accuracy through controls and explaining monthly/quarterly variations.
• You’ll break down the bank’s Profit and Loss results, focusing on commercial activities and ALM operations to track performance trends.
• Your work will include calculating transfer prices for deposits (actuals and forecasts) and collaborating with commercial teams to align pricing strategies.
• You’ll enhance systems to consolidate data sources, creating a unified, coherent view of banking book risks and results.
• Finally, you’ll synthesize risk metrics and profits & loss insights into clear, actionable reports for senior management discussions.

YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES

• You are independent, accurate, and curious; you take a critical view of information, show initiative, and have strong organizational skills. 
• You have a basic knowledge of accounting and a strong interest in the banking/financial sector. 
• You have an analytical mindset and are able to understand and implement mathematical models. 
• You are capable of leading a project. 
• You enjoy working in a team and respect deadlines.
• You are fluent in English both orally as in written; Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
• You have a good knowledge of the Office package and preferably Business Objects. Additional programming experience preferably in Python is a plus.
