Job Title:  Application Manager SUBNET

Department: ISPL 2S IT, Cross Business Solutions

About Business line/Function: Cross Business Solutions, delivering the best-in-class, innovative, sustainable, secure and cost-efficient transversal solutions and referential systems within Securities Services, CIB and the Group.

Position Purpose: Seeking for an Application Manager of the application SUBNET in IT Functions and Team Lead of the SCARLET team.

The Application Manager is accountable for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of business application SUBNET. This includes day‑to‑day operational support, performance monitoring, incident resolution, release coordination, continuous improvement, and compliance with security and governance standards. The role acts as the primary liaison between business users, development team to ensure that application deliver the expected value, meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and evolve in line with strategic goals.

Additionally, this role requires managing the local project team of SCARLET, a major transformation project within 2S IT.

The candidate should demonstrate success overseeing the day‑to‑day management of enterprise applications while leading and developing a high‑performing team.

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

SUBNET

Manage change & release processes – plan, schedule, test, and deploy patches, upgrades, and new releases.

Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring problems and drive corrective actions.

Maintain application health and performance‑tuning activities.

Lead a team of support engineers and Business Analysts– assign work, mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster skill development.

Ensure security compliance – apply security patches, assist in vulnerability remediation, and support incident‑response activities.

Communicate with business stakeholders – provide status updates, translate technical issues into business impact, and gather user feedback for enhancements.

 

SUBNET+

Lead the Subnet+ transformation project, coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing risks, schedules, and budgets to meet scope and milestones.

 

Contributing Responsibilities

< Shape Application Roadmaps – Partner with product owners  to translate operational insights (performance trends, recurring incidents) into prioritized enhancement backlog items.

Drive Cost‑Optimization

Mentor & Upskill Team Members 

Represent the Team in Governance Forums – Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB), security review panels, and compliance audits, bringing the application’s operational perspective to strategic decisions.

Promote a Culture of Quality & Security – Enforce secure coding and deployment standards, coordinate vulnerability scans, and advocate for early security testing in the development lifecycle.

Advise Business Stakeholders 

Foster Cross‑Team Collaboration – Act as the liaison between development, DevOps, infrastructure, and business units to ensure seamless hand‑offs and shared ownership of the application lifecycle.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Proven ability to manage daily enterprise‑application operations and lead a development team.

Project coordination experience: project planning, estimations, planning releases. Able to clearly articulate risks, impact and remediation status to senior stakeholders

Very strong interpersonal skills – able to engage cross‑functional teams (on-shore/near-shore) and influence senior business stakeholders.

Deep knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, release management).

Familiar with cloud platforms and understand security/ compliance requirements.

Specific Qualifications:
