Job Title: Application Production Support

Department: ITGP

About Business line/Function: BNPP Fortis APS

Position Purpose: The Marvin & Cloud Native Platform squad within IT Middleware Services Tribe manages    the Marvin platform (in house) and the IKS platform (Kubernetes) for application development/deployments related to cloud. 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       The Cloud Engineer is responsible for:

·       Managing and operating complex Kubernetes infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS)

·       Set-up of lab, development, test, qualification and production platforms

·       Integrating applications on the Kubernetes infrastructure

·       Maintaining high reliability and availability of the platform

·       Participate in the On-Call calendar (18:00 – 7:30)

·       Incident management and troubleshooting 

·       Improving supportability, scalability sand recovery for the engineered solution

·       TLS / mTLS management and troubleshooting

·       A motivated self-starter, process-oriented, autonomous with high attention to detail

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules (50% remote work) 

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a multicultural environment

 

Technical Competencies: 

·       Solid and proven experience with the following MI1, troubleshooting with analytical mindset

·       Generic knowledge on:  Web access management, PKI, firewalls, application firewalls, load balancers, networks, DMZ

·       Agile environment (Spotify)

·       Follows the Customer processes for projects, incident and change management

·       Being standalone and team worker, analytical minded, meet commitment, ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment, flexible, customer-oriented, understand risk awareness

·       Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail
