Job Title: TIBCO Developer

Department: BNPP Personal finance

About Business line/Function: 

BNP Paribas Personal Finance is financial entity specializing in consumer credit and banking as a service. Through our strong partners we distribute financial products on B2C, B2B2C and B2B models for different business lines. Inside Personal Finance, SET Iberia is an IT & Operations hub, providing IT, Data, Cybersecurity and Operations services to Personal Finance corporation, filières and subsidiaries.

Position Purpose: 

A dedicated and experienced TIBCO will be part of the Integration platform team working closely with onshore teams located in Spain.. This platform allows integration of applications through file exchanges (mainly CFT and some legacy FTPs) and JMS (only a small number of legacy flows). The platform is composed of TIBCO products (Administrator, RendezVous, EMS, Hawk and BusinessWorks) along with two applications (STCM and OFL) developed for managing development lifecycle of TIBCO applications and monitoring flows. The TIBCO developer role is to develop new TIBCO businessWorks projects using predefined templates and Tibco libraries. The TIBCO developers could be contributing in evolutions of the platforms (upgrade of TIBCO products or evolutions in STCM or OFL) and analysis of complex production incidents

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Validation of requirements for developing newapplicationintegrationwith TibcoBusinessWorkstechnology.
  • Adapt or improve automation tools used in delivery life cycle of TibcoBussinessWorksapplication
  • Development of new requests and enhancements according to the requested functionalities. 
  • Development of new requests and management of enhancementsin accordance withthe requirements specified in the documentation. 
  • Preparation of the necessary documentation for delivery and testing validation 
  • Deployment inthe differentenvironments.
  • Adaptationand enhancements intooling used for delivery lifecycleofTibcoBusinessWorksapplications
  • Enhancements in TibcoBusinessWorkscustom libraries
  • Execution of unit testing fordevelopments.
  • Provide support for the project management and support team. 
  • Participation in the creation of development documentation and in team improvements.

  • Integration design – XML/JSON mapping, XSLT, EIP patterns, webservice (SOAP/REST) connectors.
  • Basic concepts on encryption patterns PGP, GPG
  • Required basic Linux server management tasksand shell& ant for automation.
  • Management of TIBCO products(Administrator, EMS, Hawk,BusinessWorks)
  • Experience in TibcoBusinessWorksapplication and common librariesdevelopment

The Tibco Developer will work with custom made software as part of their day to day activities to perform the following tasks:

  • STCM (SoftwareChangeManagement)–lifecycle control, versioning, promotion of BW artefacts
  • OFL (OperationsFrameworkLite)–runtime monitoring, alarm handling, healthchecks
