Procurement MatuPro profile – Procure-to-Pay Department (12 months)
This position will be based in Geneva for a duration of 12 months - starting August 2025
YOUR TEAM
Attached to the Deputy CEO, the Procurement & Supplier Management department serves as the primary point of contact for external service providers of the bank. Its mission is to ensure the proper implementation of Group standards and procedures while securing the best commercial terms. With its diverse expertise, the Procurement department plays a vital role across multiple business sectors including IT, real estate, travel, security, facilities, consulting, and more. Procurement department is responsible for maintaining good relationships with suppliers, managing purchasing needs, controlling the bank's expenses, monitoring supplier-related risks, and ensuring local market intelligence
YOUR WORK DAY
As an intern in the Procure-to-Pay department, you will
- Support on the Procure to Pay Process (processing Purchase Orders and invoices)
- Support on centralizing and reviewing contracts.
- Administration of Procurement Purchase Orders Register.
- Assist in identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements in procurement workflows.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processing of invoices and payments.
- Contribute to the implementation and adoption of new tools and technologies in the P2P process.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Help troubleshoot discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone who is:
- CFC d’employé de commerce ideally in a bank environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in French; basic knowledge of English required and other languages is a bonus.
