2027 APAC Long Internship (January - June)  – Wealth Management - Hong Kong

For:                  Undergraduate students in any disciplines from a recognized university
Duration:         6 months

Streams:          COO, Credit Management, Investment Services, WM - Marketing & Engagement and Segmentation Strategy and Client Acquisition

Start date:       January 2027
Location:         Hong Kong

Induction
You will be provided with a comprehensive induction, where you will be immersed in group training and discover more about the BNP Paribas Group.

Training
From day one, you will start your business specific technical and financial training, alongside personal skills development aimed at equipping you with the knowledge you need to get you the best possible start in your career. Working alongside our teams of industry leading specialists, you will gain on-the-job training throughout your 6 months programme taking you along a development path to build your expertise and broaden your base of skills. 

What you will do?

 

In WM COO team, you will:

The intern will have exposure amongst teams within WM HK COO platform including Client Life Management, Operations, IT and projects if possible during the internship.

 

· WM COO HK

o       To provide project deployment support for COO HK

· Operation 

o       To provide pre-operation checks/controls 

· WM IT 

o       To provide first level onsite IT supports to WM HK Platform

· Conduct & Control 

o       To perform internal control checks to endure risk management and compliance of WM HK

· Client Life Cycle Management

o       To provide services requests or project to client management team 

 

 In Credit Management team, you will:

· Support APAC credit management on all aspect of business management and development;

· Work closely with senior management, relationship managers and functions either regionally or globally on different business management and development topics;

· Production of analysis, reports and presentations related to credit topics for senior management;

· Support regular and ad-hoc analysis with reporting as required by managers;

· Participate in transformation projects undertaken by credit management;

· Support for production of regular management reporting related to credit management;

· Perform ad hoc analysis and prepare management committee presentation;

· Participate in transformation projects or WM organization improvement to adapt to new business model;

· Handle statistics and data analysis of large databases;

· Assist in the definition and implementation of new credit development to support the WM business growth;


In Investment Services team, you will:

WM APAC Investment Services team assesses market opportunities and creates investment strategy and research, products & services to meet clients’ portfolio needs.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

· Work closely with senior product specialists to develop solutions and investment strategies for internal and external clients;

· Meet with investment managers to evaluate market opportunities and products;

· Analyze current processes and generate solutions to improve business performance;

· Evaluate investment quality and performance of Wealth Management products.

 

In WM - Marketing & Engagement team, you will:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

·        Support segment specific client & internal engagement (e.g. events, marketing);

·        Support the collation and dissemination of internal and external communication (newsletter, publications, webinars);

·        Support the client and product marketing team in tactical and executional duties (campaign execution, content co-ordination, diary schedule for Head of Marketing):

·        Hands-on use of digital platforms (Websites, SharePoint, etc.);

·        Hands-on use of video production tools (including writing scripts, filming, editing etc.);

·        Support the marketing team in coordinating HO originated engagements;

·        Support the marketing team in ad-hoc requests including translation requests.

 

In Segmentation Strategy and Client Acquisition team, you will:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

·        Support segment specific client & internal engagement (e.g. events, marketing);
