About the Job

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Referential Administration and Equity Support Specialist to join our team at BNP Paribas Exane! In this crucial role, you will manage and supervise our repository administration, provide essential operational support, and drive high-quality service delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment and contribute to our growing coverage in the US and APAC regions

Your Main Activities

• Referential Administration and Supervision:
  1. Oversee repository administration, including daily market data monitoring, manual updates (closing prices, cross rates), and maintenance of benchmarks, samples, and stock baskets
  2. Handle referential administration tasks such as user management and on-demand data updates
• Operational and Functional Support:
  1. Provide production and functional support for analysts and sales teams worldwide, offering expertise on Cash Equities Advisory tools and second-level support on research production tools
  2. Act as a liaison with IT support and platform teams to resolve issues effectively
• Research and Sales Request Management:
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for business requests or issues, routing them to the appropriate team as needed
  2. Follow up on requests end-to-end, including peer group creation, website scraping, new model creation, user rights management, and ad-hoc requests
• Quality Improvement:
  1. Contribute to the continuous improvement of service quality through writing and updating operational procedures, attending activity meetings, and reporting
  2. Collaborate closely with the rest of the team (3 in Paris, 1 in NYC, and 4 in India) to fulfill various responsibilities and with the Business Analyst team to enhance processes and applications. For business reasons, a presence will be required from 6:30 am 2 or 3 times a week

Profile and Skills to Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or IT
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Financial Markets, Finance, and Equity, as well as proficiency in Office Pack, VBA, Tableau, and Bloomberg
• Results-driven with excellent adaptability and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Flexible and a good team player, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
