About Business line/Function: OPC_APAC
Position Purpose:
· The Finance Operational Permanent Control (“Finance OPC”) team is the 1st LoD (“Line of Defense”) within the APAC Finance Control framework and responsible for managing the risks related to financial and accounting information (“Financial Risk”)
- Further, responsible for the measurement and management of operational risks (Non-Financial Risk”) that impact all APAC Finance functions, covering the full Finance functions, notably Finance and Tax
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
• Coordinate a high-performing team in India in ensuring the performance is in alignment with the global standards and guidance from the onshore team
• Provide regular performance reporting, risk updates, and offshore platform-specific insights to the Onshore team and Local Manager
• Support the coordination of APAC Finance Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”) process to ensure accurate controls with associated risks are defined, evaluated and implemented.
• Drive operational delivery of the implementation and monitor the Level 1 rating of all Financial Risk & Non-Financial Risk Generic Control Library (”GCL”). Performs and coordinates controls for Non-Financial Risk Control Plan or any ad-hoc requests from Management.
• Ensure timely organization and management of all regional and local procedures, and coordination of Group procedures requirements implementation
• Manage the historical incidents and non-operational incident – collect, report in Group database, support the analysis, follow-up and review the controls on incident collection process, particularly the HI – Accounting Cross-Check, plus the incident trend analysis
• Manage Group Finance approval for non-audit services for all APAC sites.
• Monitoring the IG & External Auditor’s Recommendations, Permanent Control Actions (“PCA”) and Self-Identified Action Plans (“SIAP”) closure status impacting APAC Finance.
• Coordinate closely to support the onshore team on annual planning
Contributing Responsibilities
· Perform ad-hoc projects, reporting and assessment to the Management
· Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
· Support in comply with and advocate external regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
· Contribute to the investigation/coordination on other control issues
· Handle ad hoc queries as requested by Management
· Under the direction of your manager and onshore team, support or drive delivery of various initiatives, and ensure that the need is correctly framed and all needed actions are involved.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”)
- Control oriented background with experience in control testing
- Experience in risk assessment and the design of control plans to mitigate the identified risk
- Driving investigation and leading small enhancement projects
- Innovative and think out of the box
- Initiative and problem-solving ownership
- Good organisation, management and presentation skills
- Accountability and Quality Focus
- Banking experience and knowledge on CIB products and processes

Specific Qualifications:
- Qualified CPA member
- 4+ years of post-qualified experience in Finance and Internal Controls
- Fluent in English
