Job Title: 
Business Analyst 

Department: Global Banking

About Business line/Function: Global Banking IT primarily serves Corporate Clients. The division encompasses key areas such as Payments and Cash Management, Trade Finance, Corporate Deposits, and Lending. With a team of approximately 700 employees based at BNP Paribas India Solutions, we cover a wide range of functions, including Development, Business Analysis, Testing, and Production Support. Our services cater to the Asia, Europe, and America regions.

Position Purpose: 

The person will be part of BA GIS team;10 Business Analyst located in Paris and 4 in Mumbai. This person will work on the BAU topics of Local middle East Application part of GIS perimeter

The team works with the local team based in Bahrain, developers located in India (Mumbai), and with Vendors (Unity and Progressoft).

The local team will organize some workshops to share all the functional knowledge on these applications. Most of the applications are vendors solutions so we have to manage the link with the vendor also.

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities:

 

New Requirements Handling:

·  Prepare:

o  Study the requirement.

o  Define the solution and impacts on the local application.

o  Ensure availability and quality of input (requirements, structure, test files, country, number of flows, planning constraints, partners).

o  Provide initial functional workload estimation.

o  Contact the vendor to explain the need and obtain a cost estimate.

·  Design:

o  Write Functional Specifications (FS ITL, FS flow, FS mapping) and deliver in JIRA.

o  Provide example input files for technical team.

o  Detect impacts of referential.

o  Conduct peer review of Functional Specifications.

o  Identify and specify DB referential updates and CFT/MQS creation/update.

o  Update functional workload estimation.

o  Schedule a kick-off functional presentation for the ISPL technical team.

·  Produce Phase:

o  Prepare the test plan.

o  Validate development in the integration environment (IAT).

·  Defect Management:

o  Manage defects throughout the process.

·  Staging:

o  Conduct tests on staging to verify the delivery.

o  Participating in E2E tests.

o  Participating certification tests (if requested by centrale bank)

 

·  Production Support:

o  Provide L3 Production Support.

·  Release Management:

o  Prepare the release content

o  Define and communicate the milestones of the Release

o  Organize bi-weekly meeting with vendor to follow-up items

o  Communication to all partners 

o  CRB preparation/validation with dev and APS MEA

o  Organize development meeting after each release
