Job Title: Vice President – Application Production Support

Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Duties: Act as SPOC and expert for all Americas Equities Execution (EE) Production related topics and train employees. Participate to the professional development of the team. Own team knowledge base on wiki for all in-scope activities and support project delivery. Ensure that team provides first and second level support and manage P1/P2 incidents. Provide workarounds in order to reduce the Business impact/outage of a critical or major incident. Initiate task force over critical incidents and assign priorities to projects. Implement automation to reduce number of tasks, and control the risk associated with tasks. Communicate new functionalities and organize training when required for global support teams. Support on-boarding applications into production environment and global teams on transformational projects. Prioritize team activities by taking into account the complexity of the tasks, the resources of the team and the urgency of requests. Spearhead proposals to stakeholders targeting the improvement of the platform and be responsible for delivering the end results of proposals. *Telecommuting permitted 50%: Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC office in New York, NY.

SALARY:   $179,982 - $195,000 / year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field (in lieu of a 4 year bachelor’s degree, will accept a 3 year bachelor’s degree) and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related role OR Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with (or 3 with master’s) the following: Software Application Support and Development; FIX Protocol; Database (Oracle/Sybase); Unix; Scripting; Networking; Trading technologies; and Equities Electronic Trading and production support including technical and functional support for front and middle office teams. Must have one (1) year of experience with Python.
