What is this position about?


BNP Paribas Securities Services is seeking five motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our business for a six-month internship. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, working with a global leader in securities services


You will support the team in delivering high-quality services to our clients, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. You’ll work closely with a variety of colleagues who will help you develop your knowledge and capabilities so that you’re set up to succeed


Our 6-month internship programme will provide you with training and dedicated support to help you develop an in-depth knowledge of specific areas of the banking sector


What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like? 


Role Responsibilities


In the Marketing team, you will:


  • Event Management & Coordination: Assist in planning and executing client events, including venue sourcing, logistics, speaker management, and attendee coordination.
  • Marketing & Communications Support: Draft and edit marketing materials (e.g., thought leadership content, press releases, and promotional collateral) to enhance brand visibility.
  • Supplier & Vendor Onboarding: Support procurement processes, including third-party risk assessments, contract coordination, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Organise and facilitate internal/external meetings, fostering collaboration with partners, clients, and cross-functional teams.
  • Research & Content Development: Conduct research and contribute to award submissions, case studies, and other strategic communications to highlight business achievements.
  • Administrative & Operational Tasks: Provide general administrative support, including tracking deadlines, managing registrations, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, client relationship teams, marketing, communications, and procurement teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as needed
  • Engage in training and development activities to enhance your professional skills


What is required for you to succeed?


Required experience


Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High level of motivation and a strong willingness to learn

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
