Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Department: CEFS IT
About Business line/Function: Data & Document platform
Position Purpose: Overall 12-15 years of experience as a Sr Project Manager in delivery of IT Projects and preferably in the area of Data Platforms. To be able to provide CIB’s business line with IT services enabling them by industrializing the processes for Data Platform.
The candidate should have key skills as mentioned below:
1- Strong experience to manage the end to end cycle, knowledge on Financial Market is an advantage
2-Good experience in the areas of Python, SQL server, performance improvement, ETL, BI, Statistical Analysis, Data Warehousing.
3- Participate in Design / Architecture discussions in building new systems, Frameworks and Components
4- Sound knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Proven track record of delivering data platforms supporting regulatory, non-financial risk, and financial reporting.
- Motivate & inspire team members
- Facilitate problem solving & collaboration
- Encourage innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement
- Support new team members in working through induction programme, ensure that they have the necessary knowledge to effectively participate on the team.
- Contribute to staff appraisals & supervision process.
- Represent teams at local and global CIB Forums on Data Platform subjects
- Propose / Review/ Challenge Application Architecture and Design.
- Prior experience
- Track Technology Obsolescence Management plan for CEP teams.
- Lead automation and guide teams to align with shift left and shift right strategy by encouraging a mindset for automation first and reduce recursive manual efforts
- Keep up-to-date with latest technologies, trends and provide inputs, expertise and recommendations.
- Strong analytical thinking applied to data issues impacting regulatory filings and risk reports

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Manage the delivery for Data Services via a core platform.
- Effectively manages and leads the largest and / or highest risk projects to ensure completion and significant impact on client KPIs.
- Implement best practices for data lineage tracking, metadata management, and data quality monitoring.
- Manage complex data ingestion pipelines sourcing from market data providers, custodians, and internal systems & platforms.
- Oversee data classification, retention, and masking (PII and financial data).
- Builds and preserves credibility and trust with internal clients.
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to deliver trusted data for regulatory filings, risk reporting, and front-office analytics.
- Resourceful to quickly understand complexities involved and provide the way forward.
- Manage and mentor data engineers and developers.
- Ability & willingness to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools).
- Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.
- Good communication and co-ordination skills.
- Act as key liaison between onshore, nearshore & ISPL teams.
Specific Qualifications:
· 5+ years leading data teams and cross-functional projects.
· Proven track record of delivering data platforms supporting regulatory, non-financial risk, and financial reporting.
· Experience with large, complex financial data ecosystems.
