2026 APAC Long Internship (Jan - Jun)  – Securities Services, CAO Offices – Hong Kong

For:                 Undergraduate students in any disciplines from a recognized university
Duration:         6 months

Induction
 You will be provided with a comprehensive induction, where you will be immersed in group training and discover more about the BNP Paribas Group.

 

Training
From day one, you will start your business specific technical and financial training, alongside personal skills development aimed at equipping you with the knowledge you need to get you the best possible start in your career. Working alongside our teams of industry leading specialists, you will gain on-the-job training throughout your 6 months programme taking you along a development path to build your expertise and broaden your base of skills. 

 

What you will do?
 

As a CAO (Chief Administrative Office) intern, you will provide with business support to the HK-based CAO offices (both Local and Regional) 

 

More specifically, the role is to provide transversal support to the Chief Administrative Officers in the Securities Services business line in various areas, including but not limited to:

 

  • assist in analytical review on financials
  • coordinate internal and external audits
  • support the handling of regulatory requests, risk assessment
  • prepare payments and other tasks required from Organization & Governance perspective
  • produce committee meeting deck and minutes 
  • responsible for the assigned tasks within the stipulated timeframe and with good quality.

 

In particular, a focus will be made on General Corporate Governance & Administration such as:

 

  • Maintaining up-to-date SharePoint sites to ensure information and supporting documents for the responsible matters are accessible and retrievable by business managers.
  • Involvement in review and implementation of various transversal procedures (e.g. Letter of Undertaking etc.)
  • Providing support to APAC OPC team on the weekly monitoring of Recommendations and Incidents.
  • Assist in preparation of APAC Committee decks and meeting minutes.
  • Internal IG audits preparation of SharePoint accesses, document collection and call summaries. 
  • Consolidating ORUS Control results for reporting “not tested” result before deadlines for operations teams to action.
