About the job

 

  • Senior Client Financing Portfolio Manager optimizes team performance by strategically allocating daily tasks and responsibilities among team members, in close collaboration with the Team Leader and in alignment with the Paris team's objectives, to drive success and efficiency in the business operations. MFS Financing Solutions is a specialist credit provider, focused on lending to all types of funds and bank strategic, market strategic and marginally core BP2S clients in a profitable and risk-aware way. The scope of the Paris Client Services & Portfolio Management team is to centralize Client’s requests linked to Financing once the Credit Facility Agreement is signed. They have a constant overview on the Client’s portfolio and perform a daily LTV monitoring, ie they control that the risk assumed by the bank for every credit exposure is covered by the pledge the bank has over the Client’s accounts

 

Your Main Activities Are

 

  • Timely resolution of issues and queries arising from the interaction of our clients and our financing platform (BAU)
  • Oversee the interaction between the Operations departments of BNPP (Fund Dealing Services, Loan Administration, Custody, FA etc) and clients
  • Prepare Credit request/memo for credit facility renewals. Assistance on the Credit committees, with Risk and Structuring members as stakeholders
  • Provide analysis on client’s portfolios, in terms of positions valuation and reconciliation, substitutions, pricing and static data, to guarantee that updated and correct information are included in the financing calculation
  • Provide haircut simulations, and follow-up on potential breaches and cure plan
  • Follow-up on the client onboarding (RA creation, setup of SSIs, coordination between the Structuring Team and CS, update of our Risk monitoring platform (HFT)
  • Ensure coordination between loan admin teams, HFR Team, CIB and BP2S custody department for the efficient resolution of client issue
  • Provide any relevant information or reporting as required by the Structuring team (such as KPIs, utilization volume, ratios, revenues)
  • Participate in projects for the definition of new products offer and services. Proposes HFT system enhancements
  •  Perform Service Reviews with clients when applicable 

 

Profile and Skills to Success

 

  • Academic background in Economics, Finance and Accounting
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) 
  • Experience in Banking and Financial Operations (5 - 7 years)
  • Good attention to detail and rigorous approach, combined with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams and build constructive partnerships
  • Solid analytical capability with hands‑on experience in financial markets and credit analysis
  • Expertise in risk management, including ongoing risk monitoring and mitigation
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
