Business Development Manager

Field Based

About the role

As a Business Development Manager, you're at the forefront of our growth strategy, proactively hunting for new business opportunities in the northern region of the UK. You'll manage a portfolio of customers while collaborating closely with account managers to drive success and build lasting relationships.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively manage and develop a portfolio of strategic (Lower -Mid) Corporate Clients
  • Manage and develop a new business appointment pipeline
  • Define and articulate long-term strategy for all prospects and clients
  • Work closely with Account Managers to lead customer growth

What we're looking for

You're a self-motivated and organised individual who thrives in a target-focused environment. Building relationships at all levels comes naturally to you and you're driven by a desire for success and collaboration with your team.

You'll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in managing and developing client portfolios
  • Strong ability to generate new business leads and appointments
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with acquisition tools such as nCino, SFDC, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

The package

We offer a basic starting salary of up to £40,000*, plus a competitive commission structure. We also offer 25 days holiday as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
