Business Overview:
Through our Global Equities and Prime Services franchise, BNP Paribas is committed to serving clients with a full suite of investor services, from trading to financing, clearing and custody. Prime Brokerage (PB) Risk within Prime Services is responsible for margin methodology, communicating methodology to clients, client negotiations, portfolio exposure monitoring, exposure reporting to senior management, engaging with RISK Department on client-specific deal approvals.

Responsibilities:
Associate level. This role sits within the Equities Prime Brokerage business, specifically within the Capital Introduction team. The hire would join a team of Capital Introduction professionals currently operating in New York, London and Chicago, and will play a critical role in delivering the highest quality service to select Prime Finance clients globally.
Associate level position where the candidate will be directly responsible for handling hedge fund client relationships as well as allocator relationships across the United States. The Capital Introduction team facilitates interaction between our hedge fund clients and Institutional Investors, as well as delivering bespoke capital market and industry intelligence, often through the production of high-quality conferences and events. The role will work closely with the entire global Prime Brokerage franchise and will liaise with various desks across the BNP Paribas Global Markets business.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Top class undergraduate degree or equivalent from leading universities

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 yrs experience, with a strong preference for prior experience at a bank within a Capital Introduction or Prime Brokerage Sales group, or in an investor relations role at a hedge fund.
• Firm understanding of the Prime Brokerage model, business dynamics and operations.
• Pre-existing hedge fund relationships are preferred, which should coincide with a deep knowledge of hedge fund strategies, particularly within the Multi Strategy, Credit and Quantitative verticals.
• Pre-existing institutional investor relationships are preferred, particularly relationships with Family Offices, Endowments, Foundations, Fund of Funds, and Pensions.
• Proven ability to synthesize and communicate complex subject matter, both verbally and in written format.
• Experience organizing and hosting conferences and events, and a demonstrated ability to drive attendance from institutional investors
• Knowledge of various hedge fund structures including UCITS, 40 Act, Separately Managed Accounts, and Seed / GP structures preferred.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary may vary basedupon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience,time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line,and geographic/office location.
