Business Overview:
Functions within the Asset Finance & Securitization platform that spans across both Global Banking & Global Markets, "AFS" offers clients integrated capabilities of origination, structuring and execution of structured debt solutions and related advisory services. This includes Asset Based Lending, CLO Structuring & Warehousing, Export Finance, Metals & Mining Structured Debt, Energy, Resources & Infrastructure (ERI), Project Finance, Transportation, and Syndication.
The role sits within the Credit Structuring team responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Warehouses and Asset Based Lending facilities for our corporate and institutional clients.

Responsibilities:
The position demands strong analytical, communication, organizational and presentation skills. Candidates will be expected to:
- BKnowledgeable with various credit financing products (CLO Warehouses, Asset Based Lending, Mark-to-market financings, etc)
- He/she will interact and build relationships with CLO managers and Private Credit managers on the structuring and negotiate the execution of different financing products most notably CLO warehouses
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (including: Risk, Compliance, and legal) as part of the approval and execution of financing transactions
- Analyze and structure documents to conform with BNPP’s Financing structure
- Work with external counsel on the drafting of key transaction documents as part of the execution of CLO warehouses, Asset Based lending, and other financing transaction
- Assess and describe market conditions, and use analyses to model transaction economics/rationale for both internal and external distribution
- Analyze the credit profile of transactions
- Negotiate and execute bespoke transactions (primarily CLO Warehouses)
- Understand legal framework, capital treatment, funding and liquidity criteria
- Take a leading role in internal credit approval process by developing transaction strategy and drafting approval memos
- Handle multiple responsibilities at one time
Candidates will play a key role in live transactions and be expected to:
- Work with counsel on drafting transaction execution, especially CLO warehouses
- Negotiate with client on transaction structure and terms
- Assist the internal credit approval process
- Assist internal stakeholder (Risk, Legal, Treasury, Compliance, Resource, etc) for their inquiry
- Support senior member of the team and manage the financing book day to day flow
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Knowledge of credit markets
- Critical thinking
- Communication skills (written & verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Multi-task and support of various transactions simultaneously
- Work within a team environment
- Liaise between various groups within the Bank
- At least 3 years of experience working on CLO warehousing and/or Asset based lending facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree or MBA in relevant field of study
- Legal background or experience negotiating Credit Agreements
FINRA Registrations Required:
- SIE, Series 7 and 63 licenses will need to be obtained within a reasonable amount of time

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
