Looking to launch your tech career working on high‑impact projects within a demanding, innovative, and truly international environment?

The CIB ITO Tech Graduate Program offers a permanent contract from day one and an accelerated 18‑month journey designed as a genuine fast‑track toward IT expertise within BNP Paribas ’ Corporate & Investment Bank. Throughout the program, you will work closely with expert teams on major technological challenges for CIB, with the objective to:

  • Rapidly build your technical expertise
  • Gain autonomy
  • Lay the foundations of a solid and sustainable tech career

 

What will your daytoday look like?

 

You will begin the program with an 18‑month immersion within a single department, during which you will complete two to three assignments. These roles will primarily be based in the Paris region, with occasional opportunities for international business travel.

 

The Graduate Tech Program is much more than a development track—it is a fully dedicated ecosystem designed to help you grow. You will benefit from:

  • Regular networking events with other Graduates and young talents across the Group

These interactions will help you discover our various businesses and functions, fostering a strong cohort spirit and ensuring a smooth transition from academic life to the professional world.

 

Continuous learning is at the heart of the Tech Graduate Program: you will have access to a broad range of training modules to strengthen your IT expertise and refine your soft skills, as well as conferences, talks, and round tables led by Experts to help you anticipate the technological challenges of tomorrow’s banking environment.

 

Finally, mentoring is a key component of the program, designed to accelerate your development. You will regularly meet with a mentor who will help you take a step back, structure your progression, and carve out an ambitious tech career path within CIB ITO.

 

Missions, team and working environment

 

CIB ITO teams design, maintain, and evolve CIB’s information systems and applications. As the leading investment bank in Europe within the EMEA region, we support our corporate clients in their development by offering strategic advisory services and best‑in‑class access to financing and transactional banking solutions. Depending on the business line you join, you will be based in Paris, Pantin, or Montreuil.

 

Your responsibilities

You will play an active role in CIB ITO activities. In an ever-growing cyber threat environment, customers and regulators are increasingly demanding security controls, monitoring and intelligence for financial sector companies and their sub-contractors. As part of strengthening the protection of its IT systems and the implementation of its Cyber Security program, the BNP Paribas Group implements and operates several security solutions. In CIB, there are several specialized departments in charge of cybersecurity working together to protect the bank: Cyberdefense, Application Security, Production Security, Data Security, Infrastructure Expertise Ethical Hacking, Threat Intelligence, Cyber DataScience and Access Management. These teams ensure defense mechanisms to safeguard the bank against cyber risks and keep bank business in the face of evolving cyber threats.

 

Main activities vary depending on the positions. The Tech graduate will experience various assignments during the program.

 

Rotations give you the opportunity to explore different stacks and technologies, helping you rapidly build a strong technical portfolio early in your career.

Compensation & benefits

  • Fixed annual salary paid over 12 months: €50,000 gross
  • Individual variable annual bonus ranging from €0 to €5,000 gross, based on individual and collective performance, company results and profitability (paid annually and prorated based on working time and presence)

Are you our next Graduate Tech CIB – Cybersecurity (M/F)?

 

The Graduate Program is open to candidates with less than 2 years of professional experience (excluding internships and apprenticeships), with a maximum of 24 months of postgraduation experience.

 

You have:

  • A Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an Engineering School or equivalent university, specializing in IT.
  • A strong passion for new technologies.
  • The ability and willingness to work with multicultural, local and remote teams.
  • An interest in corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in French (B2 level or above) and fluency in English (C1 level or above)

 

Required technical skills

  • Programming skills: basic/advanced python coding skills 
  • Advanced level at least in one of these areas like system, network and application 
  • Expertise in one or several of the following: Identity Access Management (IAM), Data Protection solutions, logs collection solutions, forensics, SIEM, antimalware and EDR solutions, cryptology solutions, network security and firewall administration, vulnerability management solution, offensive security tooling, exploiting vulnerabilities tooling
  • Compliance basis: familiarity with relevant European and UK regulations, standards and best practices in security (NIST, Mitre Att&ck…)
  • You may have basic knowledge on Finance, Accounting and Banks areas.

 

Expected behavioral skills

  • Analytical thinking: ability to assess vulnerabilities, analyze threats and develop mitigation approaches
  • Collaboration skills: work with a team spirit!
  • Problem-Solving capability: strong skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve security issues
  • Attention to detail: precision in monitoring, testing and reporting security issues
  • Communication skills: clear articulation of technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
