Transfer Agency Business Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Financial Services, preferably within Transfer Agency or fund‑services operations.
- Proven expertise in Management‑Information, KPI development and reporting at a global level.
- Advanced Power BI skills (data modelling, DAX, visualisation) and strong Excel capabilities.
- Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills for executive audiences.
- Fluent English (written & spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and quantitative thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to manage head‑count, budgeting and unit‑costing processes.
- Experience driving AI or data‑strategy initiatives and working with data‑warehouse / “Data Factory” environments is nice to have
- Project‑management competence (formal certification such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile is a plus).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and influencing skills; ability to work with senior leaders across global locations.
- High attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information and a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Own the core MI suite (KPIs, volumes, FTE, unit‑costs, financials, incidents) and keep the strategic reporting roadmap up‑to‑date.
- Produce executive‑level dashboards and Power BI visualisations that combine head‑count, productivity, cost and performance data for senior‑management decision‑making.
- Track and report on efficiency initiatives, quantifying realised benefits and feeding results back into the TA industrialisation plan.
- Maintain the global reporting methodology for head‑count, volumes, productivity and KPI measurement across all TA locations.
- Manage the TA head‑count budgeting, reconciliation and planning process, ensuring alignment with the domain’s financial targets.
- Oversee unit‑costing, cost‑centre re‑charging and financial analysis, flagging cost‑drift and driving productivity improvements with each release.
- Coordinate AI and data‑strategy for the TA domain – act as the single point of contact for AI initiatives, data‑factory participation and future workflow‑application changes (COMBO).
- Lead the rollout of Smart‑Query enhancements in the client‑/investor‑query management system, delivering measurable efficiency savings.
- Maintain incident‑reporting, trend analysis and key risk‑indicator monitoring, escalating issues to the Global Process Owner and Senior Business Manager.
- Support BSO transversal initiatives and TA‑wide projects, providing analytical insight, sensitivity analysis and T+1 database reporting as needed.
- Prepare and deliver board‑level PowerPoint presentations, translating complex data into clear, action‑oriented messages for senior stakeholders.
- Act as the SPOC for all analytical, data and AI requests, ensuring timely, accurate responses and fostering a cohesive, data‑driven TA community.
