Position Purpose 

• Manage the Legal function in Thailand
• Ensure the legal security and integrity of all the BNP Paribas branches, subsidiaries and affiliates and of their executives in Thailand;
•  Ensure the legal security of the transactions originated by the local business and contribute to the legal security of international transactions;
•  Globally ensure the mariagement of legal risk in Thailand; and
•  Keep the Group Legal Senior Management and the Head of Country immediately informed of any major Legal issues or risks affecting or potentially affecting the BNPP Group in Thailand.

Competencies (Technical / Behavioural) 

• Sound knowledge of Thai banking law and regulations and relevant experience in banking and loan transactions.
•  Ability to deal with a robust and demanding internal client base, including by handling multiple matters simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines when required.
• Flexibility and ability to handle a broad spectrum of work and to assist in establishing new structures and templates.
• Candidate must be able to identify and analyse legal risks and issues quickly, be responsive and provide comprehensive solutions.
• Good transaction structuring and drafting skills.
• Solution focused mind-set but with a firm legal integrity.
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be a team player with an ability to work closely and constructively with other team members and colleagues across APAC and globally.
