Job Title: Senior Lead Business Analyst – Supply Chain Finance (AVP)

Department: Banking Platform IT

About Business line/Function: The role is within the Banking Platform IT - Business Analysis and Solutions Team catering to Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Solutions. The function involves business analysis and coordination, working closely with business stakeholders, onshore Product Owners/Project Managers, and internal development, TCoE, IT security, architecture, and other transversal teams.

Position Purpose: 

To function as a Senior Lead Business Analyst for the BA Team catering to all applications within the domain of Supply Chain Finance.

The successful candidate will completely manage implementations with Business and other stakeholders. This includes gathering requirements, authoring business requirements/user stories and functional specifications, liaising with development teams and TCoE, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and overseeing production implementation to improve operational efficiency and cost savings.

The candidate must be able to: 

·       Clearly understand the client’s business requirements and provide optimal SCF solutions.

·       Contribute to the analysis and drafting of business requirements and functional specifications, 

·       Assist the TCoE team during SIT and business users during UAT cycles. 

·       Demonstrate proficiency in SDLC, Agile methodology, quality, and release control processes

·       Leverage high-level technical know-how to drive technical/security-related changes with IT teams. 

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Writing and reviewing BRDs, FSDs, and User Stories, working closely with Business and Operations stakeholders for requirement analysis within the Supply Chain Finance BA Team.

·       Leading requirements gathering, drafting functional specifications, and performing GAP analysis for SCF business requirements.

·       Liaising with development teams and TCoE to coordinate UAT and ensure seamless production implementation.

·       Managing project SDLC/Agile governance and QA activities.

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Collaborating with internal development, TCoE, IT security, architecture, and other transversal teams.

·       Reviewing overall solutions to ensure the most optimized fit for both legacy and new applications.

·       Acting as a team player for cross-project and cross-team initiatives.

·       Providing effective effort estimation and costing.

·       Defining test strategies and tracking Qualification and User Acceptance Testing.

·       Supporting users, development, and qualification teams through deployment activities (parameter implementation, scheduling process definition, environment management, and go-live follow-up).

·       Acting as functional support for production issues and queries.

·       Providing functional and applicative training and maintaining functional documentation.

·       Ensuring all documentation complies with SDLC standards and agile project management practices.

The job requires domain knowledge as under:

1.      In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Finance (including Reverse Factoring, Receivables Discounting, Dynamic Discounting, and Inventory Financing).

2.      Knowledge of Risk and Compliance regulations specifically related to Banking and SCF.

3.      Good understanding of payment and SWIFT messaging and integration standards relevant to SCF workflows.

Specific Qualifications:

Experience required: 

 

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

  • Experience required: 15-20 years overall in the BFSI domain.
  • Domain Experience: 10-13 years minimum experience specifically in Supply Chain Finance products.
  • Technical Proficiency: Good knowledge of Oracle Database (PL/SQL Queries), 3-tier architecture, and Web application servers.
  • Education: Graduate from a top University (B.E./B. Tech, Postgraduates).

 

Technical Skills:

o   In-depth Supply Chain Finance expertise (Reverse Factoring, Factoring, Dynamic Discounting).

o   Strong knowledge of banking Risk & Compliance regulations for SCF.

o   Proficiency in mapping and managing the data flows and messaging standards associated with SCF platforms.

o   Ability to lead a small analyst team per project expectation and drive end-to-end project delivery.

o   Skilled in requirements analysis, functional specification, and workflow modeling.

o   Service-oriented with excellent stakeholder communication and status reporting.

 

Behavioral Skills: 

o   Ability to understand, explain and support change
