Position Purpose

 

 

Job Summary

The Security Champion is a member of the development team who is responsible for the security of applications (code focus). They work closely with the development and security teams to integrate security into the development and deployment processes.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

Direct Responsibilities

  

·       Collaborate with development teams to identify and mitigate security risks

·       Implement security measures to secure applications

·       Perform security testing (SAST/SCA/DAST) and assess/qualify vulnerabilities identified by different sources

·       Integrate security into CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)

·       Define and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities

·       Ensure compliance with security standards and norms/Groupe BNPP

 

  

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Contribute to Arval IT Security

 

 

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

 

 

Business and/or Technical skills:

·       Understanding security principles and best practices for code security

·       Familiarity with security tools and development technologies (Fortify, Sonatype, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

·       Strong DevSecOPS experience

·       Intermediate Knowledge of programming languages and front-end + backend development technologies (Java, Angular, REST APIs and others)

·       Good to have database knowledge in SQL Server, and Oracle

·       Analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to work in a team and collaborate with development and security teams

 

 Tasks:

·       Integrate security tools into pipelines of TDA (Technical Design Authority)

·       Develop and implement security policies for applications/APIs

·       Collaborate with development teams to implement security measures to ensure application/code security

·       Perform security testing/audits and define action plans to address any issues

·       Stay updated on the latest technological and cyber innovations and best practices in security and development
