Job Title: Head of IFS Australia and New Zealand IT
Department: CIB 2S
About Business line/Function: Securities services department of CIB - IFS-Australia and New Zealand IT Supports Fund Accounting, Unit Pricing and Custody services to AU-NZ financial markets and players.
Position Purpose: We are seeking an experienced IT & Change Leader to Head the IFS Australia & New Zealand IT organization, overseeing a team of 80+ professionals. In this role you will drive the delivery of high-quality, on-time solutions across a portfolio of complex, enterprise-wide programs, while collaborating closely with both global and local stakeholders. The successful candidate will blend strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring robust governance, effective stakeholder management, and seamless execution within our global matrixed environment
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Program Delivery - Own end-to-end Delivery of Strategic IT programs and Initiatives aligned with global business objectives
- Stakeholders & Governance - Serve as the main liaison between delivery teams, Global IT and business leaders. Run steering committees, KPI tracking and stakeholder reporting.
- Team Leadership - Inspire, develop and retain a team of 80+ engineers, analysts and PMs. Champion Agile delivery models as needed.
- Technical Modernization - Lead legacy‑system re‑platforming to cloud‑native, micro‑service/API architecture; oversee data‑modeling, migration, DevOps and cloud practices
- Domain Expertise - Apply deep knowledge of Fund Administration, custody, trade settlement, corporate actions & SWIFT to align technology with regulatory and business needs.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Capital Markets Expertise: Knowledge of Fund Management, Custody and Settlement Processes
- Platform Modernization: Experience in re platforming Legacy systems, to cloud native microservices based or API driven Architecture
- Experience in Devops and Cloud practices

- Proven experience in managing complex, Multiyear IT programs (Infrastructure, Application Development, or Digital Transformation)
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders across Europe & APAC in both IT and Operations

- Track record of building high‑performing teams, coaching talent and fostering collaboration
