About the job
- In a context of strong growth projected for 2030, Nickel aims to become one of the leading neobanks in Europe, particularly in Portugal where Nickel already has the largest distribution network of the country
- To support this growth, Nickel is looking for its new Head of Marketing and Communication to design and implement an efficient communication and marketing strategy in order to develop the notoriety and grow the customer base of Nickel in Portugal
- The position is based in Lisbon. You will be reporting to the CEO of Nickel Portugal and you will join the country's executive committee
Your Main Activities Are
- Define and execute the marketing Plan, Strategy and projections for Nickel Portugal
- Adapt our strategy and positioning to the Portuguese market
- Perform regular marketing analysis and research
- Drive customer acquisition through marketing animation in POS and media strategy
- Manage the 360 marketing strategy (including trade, branding, performance)
- Create the necessary marketing assets in close cooperation with Nickel’s central teams and external agencies
- Leading the PR strategy and support as well as liaising with our PR agency
- Manage the Nickel Portugal marketing team (2 persons)
- Manage the marketing budget and external agencies and suppliers
- For all those missions you will be working very closely with central teams in Paris: experts on all those topics and who will provide all the necessary support and guidance
Profile and Skills to Success
- Relevant experience in Marketing / Communication Management, preferably in Startups or Fintech industry
- Advanced level of Portuguese and English, both written and oral
- Ability to deliver / results driven
