Description
The Securities Services business of BNP Paribas is one of Europe's leading providers of custody services for securities.
The Luxembourg branch plays a major part in its operations, offering clients high value-added services extending from custody to securities lending, fund administration, performance measurement and ratings, and bond issuance services.
We are currently looking for a :
AI Analyst – Fund Administration Securities Services Intern (M/F)
WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?
With the main objective to contribute defining and implementing an AI strategy for the fund administration division – from data governance to production-ready machine learning models that will underpin future automation and predictive services, the Key Responsibilities will be:
1. Data & Analytics Foundation – data extract, cleaning and enrich fund administration model; build scalable data pipelines; automate recurring dashboard for our reporting tool,
2. AI Strategy Development & implementation – a. to draft end-to-end AI methodology (use-case identification, model lifecycle, operational framework), b. to conduct a feasibility study of at least two AI use-cases (e.g. Anomaly detection in transaction/trade reconciliation, low-touch accounting …), c. to produce a strategic roadmap with KPIs, resource plan, and governance model for senior management,
3. Model prototyping – develop proof-of-concept ML models (time-series, classification), developing ML models for prediction with AI-driven insights, evaluate performance against business targets,
4. Support the preparation of senior management presentations and other reporting tasks.

ARE YOU OUR FUTURE AI Analyst – Fund Administration Securities Services Intern?
Professional experience and/or degree
• Engineering programmes – Master’s degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering, etc.)
• Academic background: machine learning, data mining, quantitative finance, software engineering,
Behavioural skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability or willingness to lead workshops and translate technical concepts for business audiences.
Technical skills
• Strong analytical mindset, knowledge of Python/SQL/PBi preferred,
• Familiarity with financial data and knowledge of fund administration are a plus,
