About Business line/Function:

CIB Architecture & Digital is a global team of technology and domain experts whose mission is to help optimize value across the full IT lifecycle. Our extensive range of services are designed to support CIB teams from early-stage experimentation all the way through to Production. These services ensure that projects align with CIB strategy, principles and standards, and comply with Group policies.

Position Purpose

The position is in the ISPL CIB IT Architecture team and collaborates with the Technical Architecture team to perform technical assessments of CIB applications and to ensure that application teams adhere to CIB technology standards.

Direct Responsibilities

•    Validate the technical architecture of CIB applications as a part of the ITSVC & Innovation pipeline

•    Ensure that application teams adhere to CIB Technology standards when designing & building their solutions

•    Review software-management requests and continuously improve, simplify, automate, and fully document the software-validation process 

•    Contribute to global architecture initiatives and identify opportunities to roll out to the ISPL teams

•    Conduct studies on specific technologies or technology families & produce synthesis reports for senior management

Contributing Responsibilities

•    Contribute towards innovation; suggest new technical practices for efficiency improvement

•    Contribute towards recruitment efforts for the team

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Mandatory Skills: 

•    Proficient in defining architecture solutions for complex enterprise applications

•    Strong knowledge about design patterns, integration patterns

•    Good experience in technical analysis of n-tier applications with multiple integrations using object oriented, APIs & Microservices approaches

•    Strong knowledge in Java, .NET and cloud‑native technology stack

•    Strong knowledge in RDBMS / SQL with Oracle or SQL server or Postgres

•    Very good understanding of principle behind various DevSecOps practices and working experience of industry standard tools

•    Significant development experience in building complex enterprise level applications

•    Excellent communication and co-ordination skills

•    Ability & willingness to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools)

•    Inclination to constantly keep up to date on new technologies and frameworks

•    Self-motivated with good interpersonal and organizational skills

Nice to have Skills: 

•    Good knowledge of front-end technologies preferably Angular.

•    Good knowledge of containerization & orchestration tools

•    Exposure to financial domain

Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Experience Level: At least 15 years
