Job Title: Associate, Trading Desk Analyst

Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Duties: Analyze individual companies within the US investment grade market and form trade ideas based on fundamental and relative value analysis. Work closely with the trading desk, keeping traders informed of company specific credit views as well as providing thoughts on current risk positions. Educate the sales force on credit views to better facilitate client dialogue and trading flows. Publish notes to the marketplace and develop relationships with institutional investors. *Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP office in New York, NY. 10% domestic travel required.

SALARY:   $176,571 - $200,000 / year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Economics or related and three (3) years of experience in offered or related role.  Must have three (3) years of experience with the following: Credit Valuation and common asset classes such as Equity and Rates; deciphering macro events and impact on financial assets; developing credit models and frameworks to derive investment strategies and trade ideas; developing credit models and frameworks to support risk decisions by the trading desk; developing credit models and frameworks to work with sales to develop customer relationships; and developing credit models and frameworks to publish actionable content including reports and trade ideas. FINRA Registration required: Series 7 and 63.
