Responsibilities: 

Articulate and execute the Securities Services Americas development plan for the Hedge Fund Services (HFS), in full alignment with the global ambition, strategic focus, risk mitigation principles and priorities of the 2S Global Alternatives business. 

  • Build and deliver strategic insight on market, regulatory & client dynamics in the Americas including risks identification & assessment
  • Analyze 2S positioning in the region and articulate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats including from a risk standpoint
  • Articulate a consistent & prioritised development plan for the region, aligned to global ambitions, strategic focus, priorities and risk mitigation principles defined centrally and ensure it is properly executed across locations 
  • Identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities - considering and managing financial and non-financial risks - in the region and ensure regional development plans are aligned to global ambition and integrate regional dynamics – in coordination with Go-To-Market global teams
  • Review and validate local Go-To-Market strategies for the Client Line ensuring they consider local specificities and ensuring alignment with risk mitigation principles defined centrally
  • Contribute to the global value proposition for HFS, and align the regional value proposition to the global principles, ensuring it answers specific current and future client business needs, and differentiates 2S versus regional competition
  • Identify needs for new solutions/ product capabilities in the region considering local inputs and contribute to the global roadmap
  • Contribute to the definition of the global operating and client experience models, and ensure proper roll-out at regional level
  • Contribute to definition of client pricing in the region, in line with global policies, prepare the analysis of deal profitability and pricing
  • Own regional HFS P&L, fully taking risks into account and ensuring full alignment with global Client Line P&L objectives
  • Contribute to AI teams, including Client Line country team, the US Go to Market community, and Product heads; optimize the distribution of resources across the region
  • Promote 2S solutions/ products in the region in collaboration with Client Development and the other regions, supporting sales campaigns and commercial development
  • Provide clients, prospects and market influencers with superior insight on the value proposition and thought leadership of 2S in coordination with Client Development (with a primary focus on strategic opportunities in the region) and via participation in industry events and conferences
  • Develop the 2S brand in the Americas


Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the US / Global Alternatives space, with expertise in Hedge Fund Services
  • Proven track record of product expertise 
  • Business development skills and ability to build Alternative Investors client relationships
  • Collegial attitude focused on both individual and team production
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build a community across multiple locations 
  • Impeccable conduct and respect for a strong compliance culture and regulatory framework

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $200,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
