Description

Cardif Servicios, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, is the company responsible for providing IT services based on the needs and requests of LATAM entities, meeting competitive SLAs, fostering synergies, streamlining costs, and keeping risk under control.

To meet these needs, the position of Digital Backbone Director has been opened to join their strategic team.

(B) Context and Position Summary

Cardif has launched a strategic, multi-year LATAM transformation program (Digital Back Bone - DBB) to transform its IT landscape across five countries: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Chile to serve the Protection segment expansion in the region.

The primary objective of the program is to rationalize/decommission local legacy platforms, reduce technology and operating costs, accelerate time-to-market in order to support the ambitious growth target of the LATAM business through the adoption of common and scalable solutions enabling the deployment of standard operating models (adopt and not adapt). This will be done by leveraging a recently appointed technology partner.

The DBB program director will lead this complex transformation program involving multiple geographies/cultures and departments across local, regional and global stakeholders. He/she will also ensure the coordination with the new strategic global service provider managed by global teams but being deployed for the first time in Latam.

The DBB Program Director will lead a geographically distributed team of approximately 70 professionals across program management, technology, business transformation and change management.

Regional operations and product transformation will be under a separate program (Nexo Program). The DBB Program Director will need to ensure the definition of a common roadmap, the clear identification of touchpoint and interdependencies as well as establish the necessary governance to ensure seamless communication in order to adapt the trajectory/solutions and preserve the key objectives of the Program (decommissioning of the legacy platforms and delivery of cost efficiencies).

A critical success factor will be the close coordination with global teams responsible for defining target operating models, platform standards and strategic vendor relationships. The role will also require strong alignment with other transformation initiatives, mainly the Nexo Program.
